The system thinks it is pouring more reagent than it actually does

Bubbles, blockages, misplaced tubing.

After filling the beaker the analysis phase begins, first wait for the pH to stabilize, and then start pouring reagent, watch carefully if during this phase reagent actually falls into the beaker and if the step (reagent) pump is working. If it does not drop when the reagent pump is running, or drops sometimes, it is possible that you have bubbles in the reagent tube or that the reagent bottle is empty.

  • Check that there is reagent in the reagent bottle.
  • Check that the tubes are well positioned and without bends.
  • Check the reagent tube and purge it it until reagent comes out steadily.
  • Finally calibrate the reagent pump and run an analysis.
