How to place the sensors

Treat the sensors with care to ensure that they last and do not get any damage

Each sensor has its own position, do not interchange them. If a sensor is not properly placed, the results will be wrong, out of range or there will be no results. Note the position mark to locate each sensor. The following diagram is looking at it from the front.

Hold the sensors by the sides, never touch or press the tip.

Make sure that the sensor is well inserted, it must make contact with the metal part of the multiprobe, but do not press the tip. The sensors have a recess from which you can apply some force to make sure it is well inserted.

The sensors work best without the hole protector cylinder. Keep it as it is useful to protect them when the multiprobe is not in the aBex when you are doing maintenance tasks for example.

The sensors should always remain dry except during analysis. Make sure that they are not submerged after the analysis is finished, and that the water level only wets the sensors and does not reach the multiprobe.

Keep holes without sensors covered to avoid exposing the metal connector of the multiprobe, which could rust.

Set the sensors in the App

Do not forget to configure the sensors you have installed in “aBex sensors configuration”. Otherwise it will not show results.
