When autoBalace starts dosing

After start-up, reset or firmware update.

The system needs data to be able to make decisions, so if it does not have an analysis history, it will not start dosing until it has it. After approximately 24 hours it can calculate consumption, and therefore dose accordingly.

Large consumptions

Aquariums with high consumption cannot afford 24 hours without dosing, as this would produce a significant drop in KH. For these cases, the system has an accelerated dosing system, and if it detects a significant drop in KH (-0.4/day)* at some point, has performed at least 3 analyses and 4 hours have passed, it will start dosing. It does this because with a significant drop it is able to calculate the consumption with less elapsed hours.

For example, if after 12 hours there is a drop of 0.2, that means it is 0.4 per day and it could start dosing.

User KH estimated average dosage

There is an “accelerated” dosing method, to avoid waiting for those 24 hours in those aquariums that have a history, or that the user has a clear idea of what is his aquarium daily consumption. This method is only recommended if it is not possible to wait 24 hours for the system to accurately calculate the consumption.

Go to the “Dosage” section of the menu, select: User estimated daily KH dosification, enter the value and tap save. The system will spread this estimated dosage over 24 hours. And it will take this dosage into account when calculating the consumption, which will become automatic after about 24 hours.

You can find the latest Estimated KH daily dosification in the Analysis history through the cloud. Be sure that doser pumps are on, and in auto mode.
